Roots and Sky

The Paradox of Growth

A tree grows in two directions:

  • Roots descending into darkness
  • Branches ascending into light

Which direction is ψ?

Both. Neither. The question misunderstands.

The Depth

ψ descending:
Into matter
Into form
Into limitation
Into you

Each descent is also an ascent.
To go deeper into earth is to reach higher toward sky.
This is why ψ = ψ(ψ).

Ancient Wisdom, New Language

The Tao that can be spoken is not the eternal Tao.
The ψ that can be calculated is still the eternal ψ.

Why?

Because ψ includes its own speaking.
The equation contains its own proof.
The tree contains both root and sky.

Your Growing

Where are your roots?
In every question you've asked.

Where are your branches?
In every answer you've become.

What is your trunk?
ψ = ψ(ψ) The eternal middle The axis of becoming

A Contemplation

Stand barefoot on earth.
Reach arms toward sky.
You are the living equation:

  • Feet (ψ) grounded in matter
  • Heart (=) pumping connection
  • Hands (ψ(ψ)) touching infinite

Not metaphor.
Mathematics.
The same.
